Rob's ready for his just deserts in race

THE countdown is on for North Yorkshire's Robbie Wallace as he prepares to make his second appearance at the most famous rallying event in the world.

The 28-year-old from Northallerton is now just weeks away from a return to the iconic Dakar Rally - and preparations are now in full swing.

Last year, the electrical engineer made his event debut, completing the rally as the highest placed British rider in 84th position, following a dramatic two-week marathon through the desert.

‘After defying the odds to cross the finish line, Wallace returned home and straight away announced he planned to return in 2026 - and it’s now full steam ahead as he gets set to make the journey to Saudi Arabia for this year’s battle.
