Strong, united NATO can keep Putin at bay

ALL that stops Vladimir Putin sending his forces on a murderous rampage across the borders of free peoples is the resolve, solidarity and strength of NATO nations.

When experts warn us conflict is inevitable unless the alliance demonstrates strength and unity we show weakness at our peril.

If NATO did not exist, if this brotherhood of democratic states had not welcomed into membership nations that suffered for decades under Communist oppression, then Russian tanks may well have rolled into other neighbouring territories as well as Ukraine.
