Just Stop Time! Protesters cost drivers 14.5 years

DRIVERS have lost the equivalent of 14.5 years stuck behind the wheel after being held up by Just Stop Oil protests so far, figures revealed.
The sit downs, road blockades and go-slow marches along key main roads around the UK have caused huge delays.
Now the authorities are being urged to clamp down on the eco-protesters, who are accused of trampling over the rights of others.
The Department for Transport revealed that 126,894 drivers' hours have been lost since February 2022.
This is equivalent to 5,287 days or 14 years six months.
The findings came in a response to a parliamentary question by South Thanet MP Craig Mackinlay. He said: "The damaging impact of Just Stop Oil is now clear to see.
