Sunrise to sunset

The group boasts three adult-only and four family-friendly destinations in Mauritius, all three or four stars.

I split my time between two four-star venues-two nights in the adults-only Sunrise Hotel while the rest of my trip was spent at the more sprawling beachside Zilwa Hotel, which welcomes guests of all ages. While Sunrise makes the ideal spot for honeymooners, Zilwa is the place to take the kids years later.

Sunrise may be smaller but still boasts several restaurants, a mini gym, a spa and several pools.

Situated across the road from Belle Mare beach - considered one of Mauritius' most beautiful - guests are spoilt for choice as to how to spend sunny days, whether it be sipping cocktails and mocktails at the swim-up bar or simply lounging on the sand.
