GUNNERS FINALLY GET A WIN

EDINBURGH claimed just a second win of the URC season last night.

But they had to fight all the way before seeing off an Ospreys side who did not know when they were beaten.

After just one victory in their opening four games in the URC, Edinburgh had targeted this game as a must-win.

And given the Ospreys had nearly a full squad missing through international duty and injury, this had the look of a home banker to it - even for a club who can be maddeningly inconsistent at times.

This match was the first of ten games in as many weekends for Sean Everitt's team. And with big games to come in Europe over the next fortnight then the doubleheader against Glasgow to follow, the Edinburgh head coach knows the depth of his squad will be tested.
