Galloway detained on return from Russia

FIREBRAND left-wing politician George Galloway was held by police under the Terrorism Act after flying into the UK from Russia, it has been revealed.
The Dundonian leader of The Workers Party of Britain was detained along with a middle-aged female upon arrival at Gatwick Airport yesterday.
Mr Galloway, 71, is understood to have flown into the UK from Moscow via Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates.
As he disembarked, Mr Galloway - a former member of the Labour Party - was approached by officers from the Metropolitan Police's Terrorism Command.
