ROSSENDALE BADMINTON LEAGUE
NEXT season is looking very promising for the badminton players in Rossendale with three new teams joining the league. This will mean more fixtures, more matches and a longer season for our players which is excellent news.
The Rossendale Racquets, led by Jackie Fernandez, will join Division 2 next season, playing at Valley Academy on a Thursday night.
A new club, St Philips, will also be joining the league, bringing with it two teams: an A team in Division 1 and a B team in Division 2. It is particularly promising that the focus of their B team is to introduce junior players into our league, something the committee is keen to support in all clubs.
Although yet to secure their venue, we feel confident, under the experienced leadership of Luke Quigley and Lien Vu, that St Philips will quickly feel at home in the Rossendale league.
