Retford Times
|June 12, 2025
ARTISTIC children have been showing off their talents at an annual art competition.
-
Ten schools were invited to submit entries on the theme of peace and VE Day and 250 children took part.
This year’s event had 19 winners, 18 second places and 21 commended.
Rev Julie Coates kicked off the presentation by reading a lovely poem on the theme.
This year's setting was Grove Street Church, which provided a spectacular backdrop to the art display.
