Gov Vilma leads boodle fight to prove fish in Taal Lake safe to eat

Batangas Gov. Vilma Santos-Recto led a boodle fight with officials of the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) 4-A and local fishermen here on Tuesday, July 22, to dispel doubts and ensure that fish caught from Taal Lake are safe to eat.

BFAR 4-A Director Sammy Malvas said that they want to restore enthusiasm and eliminate fear regarding fish harvested in the lake through the boodle fight.
