Injuries and Salah poser means changes likely

Mohamed Salah came off the bench in Frankfurt - but will he start at Brentford tomorrow?

(RENE NIJHUIS/MB MEDIA)

ANOTHER day on the road beckons for Liverpool as they travel to Brentford for what is their seventh away game of the season tomorrow night.

The Premier League champions have the chance to reduce the gap on leaders Arsenal to one point with victory ahead of the leaders’ visit from Crystal Palace on Sunday afternoon.

Having made five changes in an effort to get his team firing once more after a run of four successive defeats, the Reds responded with arguably their best performance of the campaign by beating Eintracht Frankfurt 5-1 in Germany.

But it will be in the Premier League where judgements are reserved on whether or not Arne Slot's men have turned the corner and there will be a real examination at the Gtech Community Stadium this Saturday night.

The first question is what to do at right-back. After Jeremie Frimpong's hamstring injury, it’s almost certain that Conor Bradley will return on that side. On the opposite flank, the major call now is whether to stick with Andy Robertson or recall Milos Kerkez?
