New homes plan moves forward at development site

Plans for 225 new homes in Penwortham have been submitted to South Ribble Borough Council by housebuilder Persimmon Homes Lancashire.

The housebuilder has submitted two applications, a Section 73 application for a further 71 units to be delivered as part of Phase 1b and a reserved matters application for 154 homes which will form phases two and three of the development.
Persimmon received approval for the first 49 homes on the development earlier this year, which is now being sold as Mill Green Gardens.
The new homes are ranging from one to four bedrooms.
