ED Issues Look Out Circular Against Anil Ambani

₹17,000-Crore Loan Fraud Probe
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has issued a Look Out Circular (LoC) against industrialist Anil Ambani, chairman of the Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group (ADAG), amid an ongoing probe into an alleged 17,000 crore bank loan fraud.
The LoC, issued on Friday, is aimed at preventing Ambani from leaving the country without prior clearance, according to senior officials.
The central financial crime agency has also summoned Ambani for questioning on August 5 as part of its investigation into alleged fund diversion and loan misappropriation by various ADAGlinked companies.
