5 rookie cops suspended over 'prank'

FIVE trainee gardai have been suspended for allegedly handcuffing another trainee and leaving him under a running shower.
The Star understands the incident which has been described by sources as “a prank that got out of hand” - is alleged to have occurred in the Garda Training College in Templemore, Co Tipperary within the past two weeks, sources say.
