McBryde expects O'Gara to unleash his full artillery

- BY DEREK FOLEY

LEINSTER set about European training this week in the belief Ronan O'Gara will send his first team to the Aviva this weekend.

It mightn't turn out to be a blind bet either as the Corkman has made no secret of his liking of the competition and coupling that with the idea Stormers don't intend sending their first team players to Harlequins on Sunday, an away win over Leinster would could move La Rochelle into second place in the pool.

O'Gara’ side aiming to be a top-two seeded club in the knockouts - opening up a run of home games as a path to the final.

Leinster assistant coach Robin McBryde (inset) said: “We've just got to prepare for the strongest team. I can't imagine Ronan O'Gara is going to send a weakened team to play against Leinster.

“Because going on past encounters and some of the players they've got in their ranks as well, we've just got to do our due diligence and be respectful of who they are and what they stand for, and make sure we're ready’
