COUNCIL CLEANSING TEAM 'WORKED TIRELESSLY' ΤΟ REMOVE MORE THAN 60 TONNES OF WASTE FROM HULL FAIR

HULL City Council has confirmed that a total of 60.6 tonnes of waste was successfully removed from Hull Fair this year.

The council's dedicated street cleansing and waste operative teams worked tirelessly throughout the event to ensure the site remained safe, welcoming, and clean for all visitors.

In the lead-up to the fair, the team ensured the grounds were in pristine condition ahead of opening night. Then, each morning from 5am to 9am, the team of 40 staff carried out street cleansing and waste removal duties in Walton Street, the fairground itself, West Park, and surrounding areas.
