Elaborate Arrangements Have Been Put in Place for the 11-Day Winter Kanwar Pilgrimage So That It Ends on a Peaceful Note

HARIDWAR: Haridwar witnessed a surge in kanwariya (devotees of Lord Shiva) footfall on the last day of winter Kanwar Yatra on Tuesday.
Lord Shiva devotees, popularly known as Kanwariyas, arrived in the holy city over the last 24 hours to fetch Ganga water from Har-ki-Pauri, to ferry it back to their respective home destinations.
This water will be offered while worshipping Lord Shiva on Mahashivratri on Wednesday.
