MANENBERG crime fighters stumbled upon the body of woman early yesterday morning as they chased a suspected stolen vehicle.
Police made a shocking discovery on Oliver Tambo Avenue when they spotted something behind a grey electric box in Tambo Village.
Upon inspection, they found an unidentified vrou with gunshot wounds to her legs and neck at around 2.55am.
Police spokesperson Constable Ndakhe Gwala confirmed that the circumstances surrounding this incident are under investigation.
