Heideveld father gunned down on New Years by 'jealous haters'

A HEIDEVELD family has been left shattered after a young father was gunned down during the early hours of New Year’s Day.

Darshane Davids, 20, was killed around 4.30am in Twelve Apostles Street by unknown occupants of a maroon vehicle while speaking to them.

His hartseer father Remo Davids believes the shooters were gangsters who were jealous of his son, who worked as a technician for a security company.

The father explained: “I got the news around 4.30am, after he was shot. He was spoken to by people in a car and was shot by someone in that car.
