DOCTORS have warned of a dangerous rise in people overdosing on vitamin D supplements.
The alarm bell was rung after an unnamed man took 80 times the recommended daily dose.
He spent eight days in hospital for kidney failure after he began a “vitamin regimen therapy on the advice of a private nutritionist”, says a new study.
