Axed Torode will bow out with celeb MasterChef show
SACKED MasterChef presenter John Torode is to have one last outing on the celebrity version of the BBC One show.
Beeb bosses have announced that the star-studded version of the hit cookery contest will air in the autumn slot, from November, which is usually the home of MasterChef: The Professionals.
It means The Professionals version, featuring new presenter Matt Tebbutt alongside regulars Marcus Wareing and Monica Galetti, will now air early next year.
But the chaos caused by the investigation into Torode’s axed co-presenter Gregg Wallace, 60, will continue, because all of the different MasterChef series are now airing in the wrong order.
Torode, 60, who lost his job in July just days after the findings of the review into Wallaces behaviour, had already filmed the series alongside new presenter Grace Dent.
