4 years jail for smash motorist

A SPEEDING driver who left two police officers badly hurt in a motorway smash has been jailed for four years.
Dylan Hood had been going at 134mph moments before the three-car crash on the hard shoulder of the M8 eastbound in Glasgow in July 2024.
The 28-year-old was high on cocaine and had an expired licence at the time.
He walked away from the carnage before being arrested outside a pub. He told police: “These things happen, mate.
