Pulis backing Parkinson to lead club into Premier League

WREXHAM'S Hollywood owners have been told they must show patience and stand by their manager if they want to reach the Premier League.

Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mac bought the Red Dragons in February 2021 and have taken them to three straight promotions in their last few seasons.

The North Wales outfit's rise from the National League to the Championship has been master minded by former Sunderland and Bradford boss Phil Parkinson.

The two actors now have dreams of taking Wrexham into the top flight after spending £33million on new players in the summer transfer window.

Parkinson's side are currently 13th in the standings in the second tier, just four points off the playoff places.

And former Stoke City manager Tony Pulis believes Wrexham are more than capable of achieving the owners' goal in the long-term.

However, the Welshman has warned Reynolds and Mac it could take a few transfer windows to build a squad strong enough of gaining promotion.
