Kop king Salah does historic Treble as he scoops the PFA gong AGAIN to make it a clean sweep of awards

- JOHN CROSS

MOMENTOUS

MO SALAH has made history by completing a clean sweep of awards.

Liverpool's Egyptian King has become the first player to be crowned the Professional Footballers' Association's Player of the Year on three occasions.

Salah had already won the Football Writers' Association Footballer of the Year gong after a remarkable season, which saw him help the Reds lift the Premier League title with his 29 goals and a career-best 19 assists.

The Kop forward was also part of the PFA Premier League Team of the Year revealed at a star-studded event in Manchester last night.

But there was one notable absentee. Alexander Isak - who was in the PFA XI - stayed away amid uncertainty around his future as the Newcastle striker pushes for a move to Anfield.
