Jealous husband used AirTag to track ex-wife

A DIVORCEE who used an Apple AirTag to spy on his ex-wife when she started dating his rugby teammate was handed a three-year restraining order.

Kevin and Sally Reid’s split after 20 years was amicable, then he found she was seeing his long-term friend Nigel Jones and accused them of having an affair before the break-up.

Mr Reid, 65, hid the coin-sized locator disc in her car boot so he could track her on dates with the chartered surveyor, and altered her phone’s settings so it shared her locations with him including Mr Jones’s £1.75million home.

Weymouth magistrates heard he also left a note on her windscreen while she was at a party with Mr Jones, saying he knew where she was.

Mrs Reid once found him following her when she went out to go to her mother’s.
