Golfer wins right to return to club after cheat claim

A GOLFER kicked out of a prestigious club for alleged cheating has won a court battle to be allowed back in after a judge heard how a “core” group of players had “polluted” attitudes towards her.

Rina Rohilla said the sport was her “whole life outside work” when she was booted out of the Royal Mid-Surrey Golf Club — where King Edward VIII was once captain — for “fiddling her scores”.

Central London County Court heard she had been “unpopular” with a “core clique” at the club, “chief amongst them” ladies’ vice captain Beverley Mayes.
