COVENTRY City chalked up their second win of three games in the space of eight days on a hugely enjoyable night for the travelling fans in southeast London.

- By ANDY TURNER Sky Blues Reporter

A Haji Wright brace put the Sky Blues on course for the full three points before Ellis Simms added a third and fellow substitute Kaine Kesler-Hayden completed the comprehensive 4-0 victory at The Den. It was a potentially costly night in terms of injuries, however, with midfielders Josh Eccles and Victor Torp having to withdraw in the second half.

Here are some of the big talking points from a memorable night at Millwall.

City's impressive numbers

The Sky Blues extended their impressive unbeaten start to the season to eight league games (four wins and four draws) to lift the team back up to second in the Championship table following the midweek programme. Only leaders Middlesbrough and Premier League Crystal Palace are the other teams in all four top divisions not to have lost a game yet.

City have scored an outstanding 22 goals in that sequence, providing an exceptional goal difference of 15, with two more from Haji Wright to take his tally to eight (seven in the league) to lead the division's goalscoring charts ahead of USA and club teammates Josh Sargent and Victor Torp, both of whom have five.
