Bears have to settle for draw after late drama
Coventry Telegraph

DEFEAT for the men's ‘A’ team cost Warwickshire County Darts Organisation the chance of victory in their latest match in the Premier Division of the UKDA National League.
The Bears led 13-11 in their home match against bottom-of-the-table Dorset after the men’s 'B' and women’s 'B’ both drew and the women's ‘A’ were 4-2 winners.
The men's ‘A’ required a draw to seal an overall victory for the weekend but it was not to be as they finished on the wrong side of the 7-5 result to leave the overall score 18-18.
Taking the match award for the men's ‘A’ was Nigel Heydon who won 4-1 against Kevin Mabbatt Smith and averaged 28.24.
