Lt Gen Harpal Singh appointed advisor to Telangana Irrigation Department

The Telangana government on Thursday appointed former Army officer Lieutenant General (Retd.) Harpal Singh as Advisor to the State Irrigation Department.
An official order to this effect was issued by the government.
A distinguished Army officer with over four decades of service, Lt Gen Singh is widely regarded as a connoisseur of modern engineering technologies. He earlier served as Director General of the Border Roads Organisation and as Engineer-in-Chief of the Indian Army.
