Governor Vishnu Dev Varma hails Telangana University as a state leader in higher education

The prestigious second convocation of Telangana University was a success, said Vice-Chancellor Acharya T. Yadagiri Rao said.

The graduation ceremony was completed in a grand manner amidst heavy security at the graduation ceremony premises set up at the university sports ground under the supervision of the sniffer dog squad team, bomb disposal team and intelligence officers.

On this occasion, the 7th Battalion God of Honor Team and the band team led by RSI Kommu Srikanth presented a salute to the Governor and University Chancellor Vishnu Dev Varma. Later, the Governor, University Chancellor Manya Jishnu Dev Varma, addressed the graduation ceremony and said that he is proud to say that the Telangana University established in the name of the state has a special recognition in the state.

He said that the aspirations and capabilities of the people of this vibrant land are inspiring the development of the university. He said that the achievements and remarkable progressive events achieved by this university have become an example for the state. He said that it is a joy to see the development of education here, including the main campus, which started with six courses in 2006 and today has 31 courses in 24 sub-departments in seven departments, including the Biknoor and Sarangpur campuses.
