Quansah makes £35m move to Bayer Leverkusen

FORMER Bristol Rovers loanee Jarell Quansah has left boyhood club Liverpool for German club Bayer Leverkusen in a deal worth a reported total of £35 million.
Quansah made 16 appearances for the Gas during the second half of the 2022-23 season during a mixed loan spell in BS7. However, the centre-back impressively went on to break into the first-team picture at parent club Liverpool following his loan, making 58 appearances across two seasons.
The 22-year-old was a Premier League winner with the Reds last campaign and also lifted the League Cup the season prior.
Quansah took to Instagram to write: "From the moment I walked through the doors of the Academy at five years old, I dreamed of one day wearing the Liverpool shirt at Anfield. Seventeen years later, I can now say I have lived that dream.
