Sudawan: Occupied forest land

The case centres on the construction of water reservoirs for a tapioca starch factory.

A DSI source said yesterday that summonses had been issued to Ms Sudawan and her parents — former deputy transport and commerce minister Weerasak Wangsuphakitkosol and his wife, Yonlada.

Authorised directors of Eiam E-San Tapioca Starch Industry Co Ltd have also been summoned.

Authorities allege the construction of the reservoirs may have involved the improper use of public land and reserved forest areas.
