PP leaves door open to Anutin

While the Bhumjaithai Party has approached the PP's leadership for discussions, the opposition party says it has received no formal contact from the Pheu Thai Party.

The coalition talks come after the Constitutional Court's ruling on Friday that removed Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra and her cabinet from office over a leaked audio of her phone conversation with Cambodia's Senate president Hun Sun.

Speaking at the Conrad Hotel in Bangkok yesterday, PP leader Natthaphong Ruengpanyawut said the final decision will be made during a party executive meeting tomorrow, and the party will not entertain backdoor negotiations or informal proposals.

"We will only consider offers presented by senior representatives at our party headquarters," he said. The PP currently holds 143 seats in parliament and is positioned as a potential kingmaker in the event no other party can form a majority coalition.
