Responsible for the continued tourism growth of the Emirate, Iyad Rasbey, Vice President, Destination Tourism Development at Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority, is well-equipped and passionate, given his over two decades of experience. As Ras Al Khaimah becomes a destination of the future, Iyad will play an integral part in the 2030 strategy and that will see the Emirate develop in a responsible and sustainable way, leading up to 3 million visitors annually by 2030.

"Ras Al Khaimah is known to be a Nature Emirate. It is a value-for-money destination. It is home to many adventure activities, vast desert, and such spacious hotels that despite having 723 rooms occupied, you will still not find the pool busy or a queue for kids to have an ice cream!" says Iyad while explaining what makes the destination so unique, "Even for weddings, the destination has plenty of venues apart from the hotels like hills, desert and even cultural venues which are perfect for hosting celebrations."
