During his 50 years on our screens, acclaimed talk-show host David Frost conducted more than 10,000 interviews with the likes of Hollywood stars, pop icons and sporting legends, as well as eight British prime ministers and seven US presidents.

Now, the journalist’s remarkable career is celebrated in new Sky series David Frost Vs, which has been made in collaboration with his son, Sky News presenter Wilfred Frost.

Across three episodes, rare or never-before-seen archive footage will offer insight into decades of political and social change, with the spotlight focusing on David’s landmark conversations with The Beatles, Muhammad Ali and Jane Fonda.

TV Times attended a special preview of the series, held at a London hotel, where Wilfred, 39, revealed how it was a labour of love bringing his father’s legacy to the screen…

What was it like going through your dad’s archive interviews to make this series, Wilfred?
