Lorraine Kelly is excited to be kicking off 2026 with a voyage of discovery along Norway's breathtaking coastline for a new C4 series.

'I've wanted to do a travel show since I was a kid, but I've never had the opportunity,' shares the bubbly queen of breakfast telly, as she joins TV Times for a chat about three-part excursion Lorraine Kelly's Norwegian Odyssey, which will see her learn about the culture, landscapes and traditions of the Scandinavian country. 'Norway's beautiful and it made me want to see more and do more.'

Here, the Scottish presenter, 66, talks us through her itinerary...

This trip clearly means a lot to you, Lorraine. When did your love affair with Norway begin?

I've been dreaming of this adventure since I was a little girl. Growing up across the water, I was fascinated by tales of Viking maidens, longboats and Norse warriors, and really wanted to meet my neighbours. Norway has so many connections with Scotland and often reminded me of home. Honestly, I just loved it!

Is it fair to say you're a different Lorraine in this series to the one we usually see on your eponymous ITV1 daytime show?
