A forensic psychiatrist’s life spirals out of control when he is beset by personal trauma and a host of unsettling deaths in Prime Video's thriller Lazarus, based on an idea by bestselling mystery writer Harlan Coben.

The prolific author (see below) has written the six-part series with long-term collaborator, Brassic's Danny Brocklehurst, and it sees Sam Claflin head the cast as Joel 'Laz' Lazarus, who works at a psychiatric hospital.

But the murder of Laz’s twin sister, Sutton (Eloise Caruthers-Little), more than 25 years ago, when they were teenagers, has cast a shadow over his life and that of his father, fellow psychiatrist Jonathan Lazarus (Bill Nighy), known as Dr L.
