Set in the fictional coastal town of Havenport in North Carolina, eight-part series The Waterfront plunges into the lives of the Buckley clan, whose once-thriving fishing and restaurant business is on the brink of collapse.

Patriarch Harlan (Holt McCallany) is recovering from two heart attacks, leaving his no-nonsense wife Belle (Maria Bello) and hot-headed son Cane (Jake Weary) to take the helm. But their efforts to keep their enterprise from capsizing lead to murky dealings as they become entangled in a dangerous net of drug smuggling.
