Grief, Gratitude & Comic Relief

“It’s surreal and has been tough, [but] we feel fortunate because we’re safe,” the actress, 48, tells Us. “I’m really grateful to be working.” In addition to having a “magical experience” filming the female ensemble comedy Spa Weekend, Faris teamed up with Scrubbing Bubbles to “interview” candidates for “The Easiest Job in the World,” (a.k.a. tidying up bathrooms!) with the brand’s Easy Clean. The campaign, filmed a few weeks after the tragedy, came at the perfect time. “It was so great to be on set, distracted [and] laughing,” she adds. “I just can’t reiterate how fortunate we are to be safe, and I think that’s kind of how we manage the grief.” Here, Faris tells Us more.
