The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 edition ended on Sunday, May 29, with the Gujarat Titans (GT) defeating the Rajasthan Royals (RR) by seven wickets in a one-sided final at the Narendra Modi in Ahmedabad. Hardik Pandya led the way with a memorable all-round effort. His three-fer restricted RR to 130, after which he contributed 34 with the bat. In some consolation for Rajasthan, Jos Buttler (863 runs) and Yuzvendra Chahal (27) wickets won the Orange and Purple caps, respectively. While a lot of the big names shone in the edition, quite a few uncapped players rose to the occasion. Here’s our uncapped XI of IPL 2022. The list features only Indians as no overseas uncapped cricketer could make a significant impression. Dewald Brevis came close but was pipped by Indian talent in the end.
