Australian members make courtesy call on Vidhan Sabha Speaker and Deputy Speaker

On Friday, a 13-member Australian delegation made a courtesy call on Vidhan Sabha Speaker Harvinder Kalyan and Deputy Speaker, Dr. Krishan Lal Middha in Haryana Vidhan Sabha. During the meeting, the members discussed many aspects of Australia, Haryana Vidhan Sabha Speaker Harvinder Kalyan, after meeting the members of the Australian delegation, said that the relations between India and Australia are very cordial and this meeting has further strengthened them. During this courtesy call, Vidhan Sabha Speaker Harvinder Kalyan also discussed the scenario of agriculture, employment, business, legislative and elections there. Kalyan said that financial provisions in the Indian Constitution have been taken from the Constitution of Australia. The courtesy call was led by Australian MP Matthew Hilkari also talked about the objectives of the delegation. In the context of Haryana, Shri Kalyan told the members of the Australian delegation that Kurukshetra is the land of Mahabharata where Lord Shri Krishna gave the sacred message of Gita.
