Back in the 1960s, The Twilight Zone was one of the biggest TV shows around. Running between 1959 and 1964, the twisty anthology series featured sci-fi, horror, suspense and fantasy episodes – all narrated by creator Rod Serling.
Now, the show’s famously foreboding theme tune rings out again as the series returns in a modern-day reboot that features 10 standalone stories (see panel, right) and a cast including Chris O’Dowd, Adam Scott, Ginnifer Goodwin and Seth Rogen.
The series has been developed by Jordan Peele, the Oscar-winning writer-director of horror movie hits Us and Get Out, who was inspired to reimagine the series following the election of Donald Trump as US President.
