A host of celebrities compete in a gruelling rowing race for Sport Relief

Sport Relief is back this week for more fun and fundraising. The BBC’s biennial charity telethon airs this Friday with sketches and appeal films aimed at tackling mentalhealth issues, domestic abuse, homelessness and child poverty.

One of the centrepieces is Clash of the Channels, in which celebrities take to the water at Salford Quays for an epic rowing race between the BBC, ITV, C4 and Sky.

Among those taking part are This Morning’s Dr Ranj Singh on Team ITV, Made in Chelsea’s Jamie Laing for C4 and newsreader Dermot Murnaghan for Sky, while Breakfast’s Louise Minchin is in the BBC boat.
