Henry Golding previews the holiday rom-com, based on the music of Wham!

Christmas has come early. In Last Christmas, penned by Emma Thompson and directed by Paul Feig, Henry Golding’s Tom helps Emilia Clarke’s Kate tap into the holiday spirit. “We’d go over to Emma’s house to break down the script and have Sunday roast with her family,” Golding tells Us about the bond that the cast and crew developed while filming in London. “It was the nicest set for the entire period of Christmas, all the way up until February — the longest Christmas I’ve ever had!” Golding also got close to Clarke, who was ill after wrapping Game of Thrones: “Once everything wrapped, I think her body just gave up!” He gets Us in the holiday spirit.
