Despite promising to give her relationship with goofy Queensland country kid Simon McQuillan, 37, a red-hot go in last season’s emotional finale, Sydney nurse Alene Khatcherian says she knew it was never going to work in the long-term almost immediately. “I needed to be very honest with myself,” she tells NW of the split. “I thought, ‘Can I be truly happy with his person living on a farm? Like, be honest!’” But it’s not all heartbreak, as Alene, 31, spills she’s ready to find The One... again!
