Despite the growing demand for the applications of art and design in general, innovators in this space are still facing challenges to thrive. One of the notable innovators is Ms. Priscilla Tan, a self-taught Singaporean fashion designer who got into the business of interior design.

According to Ms. Tan, during the journey of running her interior design business, there were always hiccups in interior renovation makeover work, even with the best planning possible.

On the other hand, Ms. Guo Yirantian — who founded the brand Yirantian in 2014 — is an innovator from China in fashion design who has recently been featured on Forbes’ 30 Under 30 - Asia - The Arts 2019.
