The Kop Magazine turns 20 this month – we've been around for longer than Jordon Ibe – so to celebrate two decades of the best Liverpool FC comment, analysis, opinion, humour and modesty we've produced a special edition.
Boss Players. Crap players. Top chants. Kop tips. Bad signings. Famous front covers. Backroom staff you've never heard off. Seasons when Everton didn't win anything. Random Spotteds. And who and what we've been lovin' and loathin' since March 1995 are just some of the things you'll find dotted throughout The Kop. But don't think we'll be wallowing in nostalgia. Or ignoring the lack of January transfer activity.
'The Magician', Philippe Coutinho, is our cover star and we analyse whether he's the man Brendan Rodgers should be building his attacking unit around or if his relatively poor goalscoring record should stop that from happening.
We've got the stats that prove Mamadou Sakho and Lucas are Liverpool's most important players, explain why Brendan Rodgers' tactical change has turned the season around and we'll also reveal which first-team star's win ratio is less than 25% at LFC. And it isn't Mario Balotelli.
We'll tell you why the Europa League should be a priority for the Reds, analyse whether Rodgers' substitutions cost Liverpool a place in the Capital One Cup final and reveal why ghostbusting is a bigger FA Cup story at Anfield this season than a fairytale farewell for Steven Gerrard.
You can also win tickets for the Istanbul Reunion Night at the ECHO Arena and a fantastic day out on Liverpool ONE with a £50 gift voucher, meal and drinks plus a round of adventure golf all up for grabs.
Add to that Chris McLoughlin on the dying fanzine culture, Keith Costigan on the lack of January transfer window activity, one of the most incredible Kop Challenge entries ever and how banning Selfie Sticks from Anfield has hurt modern day hooligans and our 20th birthday special is unmissable.
