Kopites have been going nuts recently.
They went nuts celebrating a 4-0 Merseyside derby win and went nuts as Ar5ena1 were blown away at Anfield in the space of 20 minutes. But in-between those two thumping victories, Liverpool supporters were going (do)nuts at FSG and Ian Ayre for failing to sign any new players during the January transfer window. We focus on all three issues in the March edition of The Kop.
We relive the Merseyside derby and look at why two-goal hero Danny Sturridge isn’t yet as revered amongst Liverpool supporters as he should be. We relive the 5-1 dismantling of Arsenal in glorious detail and reveal why Brendan Rodgers had the longest 20 minutes of Arsene Wenger’s life planned all along.
And we conduct a special Kop investigation into Liverpool’s transfer policy, analysing everything from the club’s transfer committee and summer signings to the real reasons why Mohamed Salah and Yevhen Konoplyanka failed to arrive at Anfield. Don’t miss it.
You can also win theatre tickets to see Nicky Allt’s revamped You’ll Never Walk Alone play in both Liverpool and Dublin, we give our thoughts on Arsenal reducing Liverpool’s FA Cup ticket allocation for The Emirates and John Aldridge explains why the ‘lazzy band’ system is one Steven Gerrard and Jordan Henderson can learn from.
Then there’s our special Luis Garcia tribute, Chris McLoughlin takes a closer look at Academy starlet Harry Wilson, Keith Costigan examines Billy Hogan’s commercial impact and we explain how a dog helped Liverpool to knock Arsenal out of the FA Cup.
The Kop. Opinion. Humour. Comment. Passion. Analysis. David Moyes’ wild nights in. Gizza read.
