Robot lawn mowers have always been an interesting concept. They do a pretty straightforward job, yet take a quick look at today's best models and you're suddenly faced with terms such as AI vision, RTK positioning, LiDAR navigation and OTA firmware updates. It's enough to make the average homeowner quietly close the browser tab and reach back for the old push mower. Two of the biggest names in the category – Segway Navimow and Husqvarna – recently unveiled their 2026 lineups within days of each other. They arguably define the high end of robot mowing right now, and they're usually the two brands I recommend when someone inevitably asks whether robot mowers are worth the money. So, when both drop major launches at the same time, comparisons are unavoidable... and also quite revealing.
