Everyone says they can't draw - but they can!'

I have a National Art Pass and a National Trust card, so I always refer to my National Trust book to see what museums, art galleries, stately homes and gardens are in the towns and cities that I visit during the tour.

I love to take other members of the cast and crew along with me in fact, the last tour I did, two of the stage management team joined up to the National Trust. They had such a lovely time and we all sketched together, then had a picnic.

Everybody says they can't paint, they can't draw, they can't sketch - but everybody can. It's such a fun thing to do and, even if you only spend 10 minutes sketching a particular tree, building or whatever, inevitably you will remember where you were because you've really looked at it.
