The norms of our world can be strange at times, as we have set them to be with individual customs, procedures and prejudices. In general, across various cultures and around the entire world, the attitude towards divorce is largely negative. The ending of the sacred bond marital is associated with social stigma especially for women. In such a scenario, if I state that there is an otherwise conservative Muslim nation which has a rather progressive approach regarding divorce, would you believe it? Yes, you read it absolutely right. Now, allow me to explain. As it is said, fact is indeed stranger than fiction.
